Nicole Song, artist behind the original paintings and drawings of Vignette ( vin'yet ), grew up in the North Georgia Mountains. With a dream of illustrating cards and children's books, she traveled south to study Fine Art and Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design. She later explored the island of Maui where she worked as an artist's apprentice to contemporary painter, Piero Resta.
Nicole now resides in Chattanooga, Tennessee where she taught second grade for many years. She always keeps the dream to create alive. After the birth of her daughter, Stella, in 2014, Nicole left her job as a teacher to be "MOM" and pursue art full time.
